Island Peak expedition is one of the most beautiful expeditions in Nepal. Enjoy the 360-degree panoramic view of the world’s most famous mountains. We welcome you to experience this adventure with 7 Summit Club Nepal.

Island Peak, 6,189 meters high, is a magnificent mountain peak that lies in the eastern part of the Himalayas. The peak is inside the famous Sagarmatha National Park which is an area filled with mountains, wild animals, and amazing floras. The Island Peak Expedition is suitable for beginners. Through some training, trekkers can easily conquer the peak which stands at 6,189m.

Island Peak and Imja Tse are the names of this peak. In 1953, a Mount Everest Expedition included members of the British. While viewing the peak from Dingboche, they noticed how the peak resembled an island surrounded by ice seas. Thus, since then Imja Tse was also known by the name Island Peak. The Island Peak was first summited by Hans- Rudolf Von Gunten and some Sherpa guides.
